this was a great workout for me. Bands added about 70lbs of tension at the top, and around 15 on the bottom.

i was planning on doing stiff legs, but after conventional deadlifts i couldnt do anything else. Squats tired me out too.

This was my first time ever doing conventional dead, and damn i surprised myself. If i was fresh im thinking i could hit a 355-365. My form isnt great though, legs lock out in last 1/4 of it so its all hips and back for the lock out. I was still really happy... except when i couldnt get 345 the last 3 inches . Oh well, still a few new PR's, great day for me

I WAS spent after this workout, and felt like dying... but it was a good feeling.. i was happy with myself. I'll probably do pull throughs sometime tonight if i get bored.

Just thought i'd post this, so you can see how im doing

short term goals are a
200 bench, 315 squat, 405 dead...

im about 5 lbs away from my bench, 30-40 lbs off my squat (w/ knee wraps) and about 50-60 off my dead.

Im liking westside.. week 2 , and im seein gains.
 
thanks.. every single set idid today was a PR. I have never done low box squat..and never used the light bands, so all of those were PRs... (last week on a normal box i got 215 x 1 with mini's, so i definately got stronger)
i also never conv. deadlifted. so even doing 135 was a PR, and i was estatic when 345 started to move.. I was trying at it for like 15 seconds for the lockout but couldnt get it. I almost passed out trying lol.
 
lol IRBD, im still a good ways behind... im gonna beat you to that triple bw dead though. You can count on that.

since yesterday was my first time deadlifting conventional, with more then 135, do you think that my conv. dead, will jump or quickly, or stay even with my sumo???.... i really hope it jumps.
 
You never know. First time I tried to max my sumo it jumped up way past my conventional which I thought was my stronger lift. Recently I started doing more conventionals and those have crept back up. Guess it depends on your strengths/weaknesses.
