So a brief history, been training without weights, using only bodyweight exercises (which are unfortunately very underated in my opinion) up until November 4th. I had developed a pretty solid physique, though pretty skinny at 170, I'm 6'2". Decided I wanted to become a personal trainer as I am pretty hooked on fitness and was a complete bodyweight strength fan- rings, handstand, gymnastic/convict style training. Well I knew id need size since with my clothes on I looked scrawny, though shirtless pretty impressive. I began a cycle of Mdrol and was going to add in Hdrol after a couple weeks and do a 6 week cycle. Well I hated the Mdrol, lasted about a week and a half, felt like shit, horrible mood swings, headaches, and going to the Hdrol was better but still had alot of negatives outweighing the positives- I didn't make alot if strength gains and all and all put on about 8 pounds for about a months worth of that nonsense, pct with nolva for maybe 3 weeks, hated that as well- zero drive, total lerthagy. Also started hcgenerate towered the end of pct, and holy shit, something was happening. strength began going up daily, all my exercises from handstands to incline press, pushups, pullups, back lever, front lever, felt fantastic. Joined the gym about that time to be able to add in weighted squats, was stuck doing single leg bodyweight squats, and plyometric leg excercises, which as I said earlier- very underrated I think. I was 175 when I joined the gym, month after that- 195. That was last Sunday, I was 198 today. I was blown away at the increases in strength every workout, I know I sound like a scrawny newbie, but I've been around weights before, I was 260 at one time. I feel my strength when I joined the gym was as good as it's ever been, on a pound for pound basis. So the gains weren't just because I was an untrained guy, I have trained for various sports, competition for alot if years, about 17-18 years if athletic pursuits. So I knew the gains were coming from somewhere, I thought at first it was the bodyweight strength base I had built, but now I really believe it's the hcgenerate that really helped stack on the muscle, my wife has been just blown away at the changes to my body, suddenly I'm thick, much thicker than before, and although I know squats helped, and training hard and intensely, but this was something I hadn't really felt before. I am really impressed with the hcgenerate and tried to get more but they were out if stock, so I got unleashed and bridge that I will take up until I start a test cycle in february. I hope this helps and wasn't too long winded. I just joined here recently and am really impressed with this forum and the staggering amount of knowledge, and friendly helpful members. I haven't visited the forums I joined before this one since. I figure to be 225 by May if not bigger and at least that ripped for a show in November, by then I plan to have a fresh start on a great new career.
