Maffiosa's new log~

Had a great work out tonight! I did however puke my brains out in the locker room after, think i pushed myself a tad to hard. I noticed towards the end of the day i burn out on energy right b4 my work outs. I think i need to bump up my calls to 2400 or sumthing, that or sneak in some carbs right b4 work out.

I had 1 cup of cheerios and 1/2 cup of fat free milk, and will have my shake b4 bed! so that will put me around 2250 cals for the day!
 
Slacker ;) Wheres you r updates.

I just started throwing a few more carbs in before workout and have been feeling much better for it (apart from today lack of sleep though).

Yes i've been slacking lol, i'm out of town on biz! I'll update on sat or sun! Have a great weekend as well, same goes for everyone else :)

My thighs are still tender and sore from Wednesday's leg work out! It's been awhile since i've done squats and dead lifts, but i had good form. I've been walking around for 2 days like i spent the night in the pokey with bubba and his in bread brother lol. Anyhow i dont ever remember one muscle grp being sore for this long after a work out. I dont feel injured, just kinda weak my legs almost buckled on me walking into the bank..thought i was gonna take a dirt nap!!

I forgot to mention that i quit chewing and my wife quit smoking s of yesterday. So the both of us will be going into PMS mode here soon lol. I noticed immideately that i've been more hungry and looking in the fridge and pantry even when i'm not. To make things worse, she asked me if she should make some snickerdoodles! Those are my weakness, so of course i said no..and of course she made them. It wasnt pretty, the score is snickerdoodles 1 me 0. Sugar free wrigleys gum is my only hope to survive~

Was going good untill b4 i left for my trip! She wasn't dealing with it well, was hard for us to quit at the same time, we were fighting over the dumbest shit! So i caved in and told her i would quit 1st and expected her to do the same ( i pulled out the set a good example for our son card). Only thing im chewing these days is sugar free gum ;)

My diet friday-sunday was ugly!! I stopped and visited my mother on the way home from my trip. I was only there for a day, but i swear i gained 3 pounds off italian cooking. Need to hit cardio extra hard this week!!
 
I feel very discouraged today! I should be getting better results than i am being almost a month into my diet/training/cardio. For the most part my diet has been clean..other than my italian food episode this weekend. I don't know what i am doing wrong, i should be down 15lbs by now at least...or fitting into a smaller pain of jeans. Guess i need to push myself harder. Going to step up the cardio x2 a days 6 days a week, lift twice a day 4 days a week.


8:30am 1 serving of oats, 1 small banana
10:30am 1 ensure
12:00pm 1 can of albacore tuna, 2 slices of honey wheat multi grain, 1 cup LF cott. cheese
2:20pm: red potatos, chicken, sweet peppers, 1 teaspoon light olive oil..serving size 1.5 cup
4:30pm shake
5:00pm work out- Chest, biceps, calves, back!
7:30pm 5 egg whites, 1 yolk, 5 oz of steak,

Totals 1774 37 155 203
ratio 48/32/20

I'll try to get in another 300 cals a few hours b4 bed!
