Hello all. I was a former lurker who finally joined. I have no idea why I waited so long. (blush) I have a question about Chest excercises for women. Why do so many of you focus on incline sets? I always thought my chest routine was good, but now I worry that I should make changes for a more attractive female physique. Usually I start with 3 sets of my heaviest flat bench with the bar and weights, then I do 3 set each of incline, declines and barflys with the barbells. all heavy. Should I focus more on incline? I only train with men and have never heard this before.

PS. Super psyched to have acutally joined. Out of the shadows and into the light, eh? ;)

Shadow once said "upper chest work will help provide the illusion of cleavage as well as "raise" the breasts....(Ill catch heat for syaing that) this also helps if there is sagging due to losing size in that area"

Ahh. Interesting. well I'm plenty perky but shrinking by the day. Perhaps I should do some more incline, for the day I realise my girls don't need a bra anymore and I'm looking a tad like a boy? Heh! Thanks so much!

;) Ill be joining the EF "A" club in about 2 months (at least I HOPE )

My chest training has always been around the flat bench / incline DBs / flys / smith. Declines are no a good thing for me -- makes me feel like my girls are falling out the sides...

Hmmm. I have just found out the complex differences between body builders' and fitness competitors' workouts. Which I guess makes sense, as they are trying to do different things. I am not sure what I am trying to do...look buff. Hee hee. I don't think any routine will make me look less feminine unless I start taking ah... "suppliments. " Which I'm currently not interested in. But sometimes I get insecure or nervous about it. Nice to bounce it off other ladies. Thanks for the reply!
