As long as you keep your fat (think around 1.5grams per pound of bodyweight) and protein high, then you should be fine. But keep the carbs at at least 100 per day.
at this stage u should know your body well enough to know how well it responds to various levels of carbs. i personally have success with low carbs but my cycles were for lean mass gains while dropping bf.

Agreed. But there is probably no reason at this point to get all crazy and go on a keto diet. If you keep the carbs to just before and after your lifting you should do nice on 100 per day.
The only thing I do want to add is that we have been sold on the idea that we need A LOT of carbs for energy and performance and that just isn't true. Lifters don't use as much glycogen as endurance athletes. And even they get way to many carbs. See how you respond and make adjustments from there.
Don't forget the healthy fat and a good amount of it! Give yourself 2 weeks before you make a true evaluation if it is working or not.
st8grad nailed it. keep your carbs centered around your workout and don't forget your good fats: almonds, natty pnut butter, flax oil, salmon etc. Youll be good to go and have plenty of energy. Good luck.
I have done very well on low carb / high Protien.
I teach Jiu-Jitsu & Judo & grapple 4 nights a week and have never had an issue w/ energy. Mind You my BF % is 16, not 8
in a cycle from what i have experienced ..while on low carb u wont lose any muscle and will gain some also but u wont gain as much as u could with a balanced planned out diet ,.
