LOL @ couples

we normally only go to the movies if its a movie we both like and really want to see in the theater. otherwise, we wait for it to come out on demand or netflix. just not worth the money if one of us isnt going to be entertained.

i have been to movies by myself but its been many years.
we've waited for the movie to come out too but some movies are just meant to be seen in the big screen due to video and sound effects, no way I'd miss Potter in the theater.....

We've done the going to the movies alone together like yesterday maybe 2-3 times in our 6 years together... we sometimes just go on $5 Tuesdays and watch my movie and then his movie ;)

I tried watching the first one, and I didn't like it at all. I'm not into wizardry or spells.

I read the first 3 books and loved them. Did not like any of the movies. Stop going after the second one.

The movies actually turned me off from reading any more of the books that I originally loved.

That's fine, but no need to harp on others who DO enjoy it. Wizardry isn't just for kids....see: lord of the rings.

Bill - that's too bad....the books and movies only got better. The kids matured, the stories matured, and rowling's writing also matured.

Yeah! :) I do it with my Dad all the time. I'll go see some war movie and he'll see what I want next time. I wouldn't usually watch a war or science fiction movie but I almost always end up enjoying them.

I go see movies with my parents that I'd never have an interest in otherwise...I've gone to movies with my neice or nephews for the same reasons. It's a nice thing to do for someone else to go, not make fun of them for their choice, maybe not be as entertained as they are, but to spend that time with them while they are enjoying themselves.

Did Hermione ever get pounded? I may start reading them again if so.

well that's the thing, I have enough of him at home and work, LOL, also he doesnt like to talk during movies so our interaction is minimal, so we dont spend real time together just cuz we are sitting at the same time in the same place next to each other in a dark room without talking.... :whatever:
