Yeah but then what happens if i permanately mess something up? I'd like to fix the problem but it's so aggrivating. Seems like no matter what I try, i cant seem to pin point what i'm doing wrong. I'm taking a week off at the end of this week. hopefully that will help a bit.

Just decrease the weight to where it doesn't hurt and work up from there.

I've injured my rotator cuff more times than I can remember so I'm used to having to deal with an injury when doing shoulder work. I only made my problems worse when I refused to cut back on the weight and tried to work through it.

If the movement hurts even without weights then you have a problem. But I doubt that's the case.

And dont forget to stretch. Lot's of people neglect to stretch arms and shoulders. I do light stretches before the workout and more intense stretches at night before bed.

Still though. Every time I do upright rows the first two or three sound like I'm popping corn in my right shoulder.

thanks guys, I guess I'll drop the weight even more. I'm only using 95 pounds now. Are military presses necessary to build strong shoulders? And could someone point me to a thread or a link with some exercises to strengthen my rotator cuffs.
