I think sometimes when I see a couple, I might think hmmm, he's got something about him that has her hooked. Maybe I am curious as to what makes him so great. I don't tread in other people's waters though. THe only time I have ever wanted another girl's guy is when I had feelings for him previously, but I never attempted to break them up. I think that it is just that everyone wants what they cant have..and that the saying "the grass is always greener on the other side", well it is until you get there...then you want again what you cant have..it is the hunt that thrills people.

This is so true, we talk about it all the time at school and girlfriends are actually used as a pick up tool. It came to the point where guys were faking girlfriends, putting up numerous pictures of the same girl , and thinking this will get them more femine feedback.
My view on this is that some girls are just like guys in that all they want is is the physical aspect of a relationship, the sex, a sort of "fuck friend." So they go to 'married men' who they know may hook up with them, but won't be able to commit, so they are getting the sex without the dates,phone calls, jealousy issues, etc. I think girls find man whores exciting, and feel like theyre missing out on the action. Its common at my school for guys to have their girlfriends come up and parade her around, bring her to lots of parties, make sure other girls see her, so when she's gone, other chics know he can snag a hottie, so theyre interested. I myself am guilty of this, and as sick and twisted as it may be , it works.

some people here made good points but remember, having a GF makes them wondering what so "hot" with you. This is human nature. We'll rarely go for unwanted things. No one is ready to invest money on a "no-name" painting. From the minute someone gives some importance to it, then it's a domino effect. If you wanna get laid, just hang out with the right people (nice people I should say).
