keto diet with HGH and Deca?

Hi,

I have about 20lbs of fat to lose in 10 weeks if possible. I've been researching a keto diet and want to make sure I don't need to make any adjustments for my "supplementation". I'm taking 6iu of HGH per day and 400mg of Deca per week. Should I up my protein intake? I don't want to lose too much muscle with the keto diet and would hope to still be able to put some on. Also, I'm considering Cytomel for a short period as well. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Eat 75% fat and 25% protein. YOU WILL NOT LOSE MUSCLE ON A KETO DIET PERIOD. It's a muscle sparing diet. That's why we do it. Also I wouldn't use deca by itself...you've been warned... :rolleyes:
 
use the Deca but use a little bit of test each week...100 to 200mg. this will keep your sex drive normal...
if you are going to use 6iu of Gh per day then you will need to use 12.5 to 75mcg of T3(cytomel) each day. with GH, your thyroid needs are higher..
also look into using around 600 to 1000mg of ALA per day. this will help you keep insulin resistance down and help the GH work better.
if you train hard,do cardio and stay strict on your keto diet you should do fine..
Protein should be at 2grams of protein per lb of bodyweight..rest of calories are fat..
Totla calories at 10 x your current bodyweight...

week 1-10 6 iu GH per day
week 1-10 400 mg Deca per week
week 1-10 100 mg Test per week
week 1-3 25mcg of T3 per day
week 4-7 75mcg of T3 per day
week 8-10 25mcg of T3 per day
week 10-12 12.5mcg of T3 per day
week 1-10 800mg of ALA per day
week 11-15 PCT...read a thread about post clomid therapy....

Awesome, that is exactly what I needed. A few more questions though. I already use the Androgel (prescribed for Test maintenance) which has been keeping my sex drive better than ever. Now I just need to get my hands on the T3. Is that safe for mail order. Everything else I have is totally legit, my prescription, ya know.

Shoot, I had one more question. Its regarding the carb up on weekends. I've talked to people that said I can skip the carb up days if I just eat carbs right after a workout. He said this will allow me to stay in fat burning mode for longer and lose the fat faster. Any thoughts?

Most of this is right, except you don't need to consume that much protein. Consuming too much protein will actually keep you out of ketosis. That's why people that try this diet and eat too much protein feel like shit. They are always hypo. Follow this rule: 75% fat and 25% protein. I've experimented with this diet for about 6 years now. This works. Later when you can drop into ketosis quickly(w/in 12 hours) you can raise your protein and lower your fat and be OK.
The carb ups are extremely important. I recommend starting off by carbing up every 5 1/2 days for 36 hours. Try it this way and then later experiment by skipping carb loads and adding dextrose and whey immediately after training. I like to do the carb loads as my workouts are much better.
