Shadow's a good orb. He gave me the extra little bit of insight to go to a meeting. I'll be getting back to you on those 5 reasons... Thanks, seriously.

But anyhoo, about the god part. I don't think it's god per se that you need to find as much as some sort of power outside of booze. You can do it man, keep with it.

I'm psychic. You never know, you may have helped save my life. Funnt to think how giving 5 minutes to a stranger could do that...

Get a pair of fucking balls and some willpower.

Then you can break your addiction.

That's exactly what I did when I quit smoking, drinking and doing drugs, although my motivation was Bruce Lee and I don't think I would have quit had it been for him.

I'm chewing this damn nicorette shit right now.. I can tell you for a fact that there is no God, because no way would God let anything taste this bad ;)

alocholics anonymous isn't all that effective anyway... most people relapse.

You don't need "god" to overcome an addiction... but if the idea of a god is what helps get you through, then more power to you.

AA has been proven to help millions of people. A relapse isn't the worst thing to happen to someone, either. It could actually be a great thing to show where you don't want to be again. If it doesn't work, find something else. Your life is worth it.

I wanna know...pm when you are ready

I give props to anyone who's quit an addiction...by any means. I've also quit smoking, drugs and now, I drink social. My problem with AA however is how they want you to admit you are powerless to your addiction..if I was powerless, I wouldn't have quit

Cheers to anyone trying to overcome a huge obstacle...you can do it!
