I'm going to feel this tomorrow

....... and probably the whole weekend.

Well, I've been working out for a few months now and just recently started the 5x5 program. I feel great and I'm noticing some bumps and definition that weren't there before.

Now to the pain part. Today was my first time doing squats. I started out warming up with just the bar and was surprised at how awkward it felt. I then loaded up that bad boy with a whopping 50lbs (95 w/bar total). I felt every rep in many strange places.:alien: It was very hard to get parallel as my legs began cramping up almost immediately. However, I stuck with it and did all 5 sets:D

It hurts to walk, stand, drive, and type this message.:mix:

With that said, I'm glad I started and am looking forward (sort of) to my next leg day.

Just wanted to share.

Peace,

For a warm-up I do squats with no weight at all in front of the mirror, and on the way down I lift my hands up so that when I'm just hitting paraelle on squat my hands are pointing straight ahead at the mirror. Excellent for form and strategy!!!
