I hear what you are saying. It can be very exhausting having to go thru all the motions. Some of us have the “Bullfighter” mentality and enjoy the run more so than the kill. There is no better feeling than spitting game at a chick on the phone, and knowing that the first thing she is going to do when she hangs up is call up her girlfriend, and tell her about the wonderful guy she just met… You can tell that she has been saying good things about you by the way her girlfriends look at you when they first meet you. Every phone number you get is a hot contact, you call and follow up on it. Some numbers have a dumb bimbo on the other end and she may not be worthy your time, some numbers may have some warm poohn tang ready for the taking…. If you get lucky, one will have your perfect match and soul mate on the other end, it is a numbers game. You still have to play the game, and play it better than the other dudes, to have a better chance to find the chick of your dreams.

I got very discouraged with the club/bar scene about 3 years ago when I was in a stretch of singlehood and just got burned out.

I don't have a silver tongue, I can carry on a conversation with anyone, and I get plenty of looks, but when it comes to spitting game sometimes I just fall flat on my face when I am on the spot.

Put me in a different situation, something more relaxed and casual and I'm money all day and all night. At a club though I seem out of my element, the girls are fronting, the guys are trying to seem as desirable as possible. But like I said in my dumped thread, it seems so futile because out of all the girls in the club there are maybe 10% of them that'd I've even really consider dating.

Overally.. there has got to be a better way!

Oh one more thing.. I don't really care for dancing much. Guys who like to dance and who can dance well get 10 times more pussy in that environment.

It took me years to figure that out. I actually used to feel like "what's up with me" when girls that I knew hooked up with other guys on one night stands were trying to be all "we should wait" when it was my turn

You have to be a jerk, no two ways about it. She has to find you attractive, yet to big an asshole to ever take home to mom. If she's thinking long term potential, then you sleeping alone that night.

yeah, that's tough, but it give you an excuse to get in real close and talk right into their ear.. if you smell good (or if they do) that's a bonus.

Dude, you have to learn how to dance if you're going to hang in clubs. there is no way you can spit game when the music is blasting. Just walk up to the ones you like, smile, and start dancing.

If you can't dance, go somewhere else.

You can't tell me some of you bros are really trying to talk to chicks at the night club... It can be done depending on the set up of the speakers at the night club, there are places(away from the dance floor) where you can talk if you get real close ... For the most part it is better to get a phone# and follow up. Also getting some "air" and standing outside the place to chat can work well. Dancing is always a plus, I can dance Latin music and turn a bitch out getting down on some Reggea, this is an advantage when trying to smooth over latino mamies that don't want to hear about a dude with 2 left feet...
Again I will say: Get that number and follow up, once you feel out the prospect you can decide if you want to play ball for a little while or just go for the close.
