I am closing in on a personal PR again.. I weigh in the high 180's.. i'm in my early 30's.
my best bench is 365, i believe i can beat that very soon .. I am healthy and i feel as good as i have ever felt knock on wood. if i can stay healthy i think i can get close to 400 soon.
best squat was 535 for 2. i have been blessed with a very strong lower body.. my upper legs are like tree trunks.
thanks i really think starting to lift when i was 15 and putting in the hours when i was young has paid off as i've gotten older. all those years of building a base.
i think every teen should be required to take weightlifting class 3X per week minimum in high school.. not just for health reasons but also for self confidence. it will pay off when they get older as well.
I appreciate the kind compliments. I turned 61 Dec 4th and didn't try any max lifts i'm getting to the limit of my abilities and decided to start training smarter and not worry about how much i can lift, whats important now is maximising those lifts instead of a 502 squat ,i'm hanging around 450 for reps. This applies to all of my routines.
