How much can you bench? & How much do you weigh?

Yeah, it helps the most at the bottom. Personally, I like it because I have rotator cuff issues, and it keeps my shoulders tight. You HAVE to be able to get your shoulders back, arms down, etc...just like you would without a shirt, though.

I am 185 LBS and my max bench was 275lbs 2 reps on my own last 4 assisted I was gettin six I don't care how much help was needed..

wiseachoo,
Congratulations on starting working out...
Looks like you are already gaining some weight, both in mass and on your bench.
Stick with it and you'll be benching 200 in no time...
Thankss
ryan

my best was 275 while weighing 160. that was this past spring semester. i haven't benched heavy in a while, so i most likely can't put that up now. i'll start some heavy lifting very soon though. i hope to break 300 sometime.

395 at 220 bw. Trying to diet down to 200 to put up 4 plates, feeling week lately though.

Nope, can't say I can bench twice my bodyweight yet, but I did do 225 for 21. I thought that was pretty cool, got jacked up from reading the NFL combines. Some of those guys speed to strength ratio is phenomenal.

Thanks :) I changed my routine so I only workout 3 times a week, 2 muscle groups per day. I just had my chest/tri day today, I maxed at 165 (still weigh about 137). Looks like it hopped another 10 lbs. w00. I'm starting my very first creatine loading phase tomorrow night when it comes in, should help even more :)

You guys are too buff, when I eventually break 200 I'll be so happy :P
