How bad is a Cheat Day?

well to gain an actual pound of weight <excluding water>, you must consume 3500 cals over your regular diet.

Bukzoon you're a cool girl!

Absolutely!! Cool girls and GOOD girls out there appreciate men who live an enjoyable lifestyle... work out and stick to sensible diet to stay fit (or muscular for that matter), be able to appreciate good food when the occasions arise, and most important of all... be able to chill out! :D

By the way, the answer is 'no' to a bag of chips... gee... there are many other good things to cheat with... not a bag of boring chips!!!... just joking :D I would say, on your cheat day, eat to your heart's content... that's what I do on Sundays.

I think a cheat day is a necessity, except for pre-contest of course, that is the only way I would stay sane I look forward to my cheat day.

I found I can eat only junk for a day or two a week, I mean shit like pints of ben&jerrys krustez pancakes, pizza, cereal, cheesecake, and not gain weight. Sometimes I actually look better the day after eating all that stuff. I just eat junk when I feel unless I'm trying to cut, which isn't often, and keep my calories in check so I don't get fat.

We all need cheat days! It's what keeps me going on the bland diet that I have to follow five days a week. I use two cheat days a week- Friday and Saturday. On those days I'll still eat high protein foods- just laden with fat and carbs! Nothing beats a good chicken parm with some fried calamari!
