hey everyone, this is a great board...i've learned a lot just by reading stuff you guys post..about myself, as of today, i'm 14 years old, 5'9'', 225 lbs....i dont have much for numbers, 250 bench, low 300 squat, high 300 dead.
i've been training for all the wrong reasons the past few years. i've been training since i was 11, but only for bodybuilding. wow, was that a mistake. biggest waste of time ever...well, that's my excuse for not being very strong yet
. right now i'm doing the russian program for bench...and if i did the percentage training correctly, i should have at least a 265-270 bench.
i found a site for the federation that my highschool is in and the national record for my age group is supposedly 330 or so pounds shirtless for benching. i have 9 months to get there and i'm ready to work my ass off. i feel very confident with westside.
today i did one of the daily amount of sets for the russian program and a ME box squat and lunges. i havent done lunges in the longest time and they absolutely kicked my ass! by the way, the ME box squat wasn't too high either, but i think that's because i'm just learning the movement. i think if i changed my stance from all quads to a wide stance, i could get at least 25 pounds more on my squat
