Heat and Protein?

Ive seen alot of different things on this but im still in the dark, especially with eggs, ive heard the heat denatures the protein in the eggs, and ive heard the only way you can digest the protein is by heating it. Also what about other things like protein pancakes with whey powder and cottage cheese? is it just useless food, or is all that an urban myth? if not what about cooking longer time at a lower temp for foods like that?

To most of us, this denaturing is very mild, and in most cases wont even matter, worry about eating good, lifting hard, doing cardio, and you will be fine.

I'm getting confused abuot that too. They say protein denatures at a temperature (eg. milk protein at 70 celcius), but we break it down to AA's anyway, what does it matter if its already denatured if the AA's are stilll intact. The only reason I would cook is to kill any bacteria/parasites that may contaminate the meat/eggs.
