Those of you with experience -- when should I wash my hair?? Tonite (Thurs nite) or tomorrow morning??

My hair styles better when left unwashed for about 1 day - but I'm not sure about time tomorrow since I *have* to go see Fred...

What did ya'll do??

I washed mine on Thursday morning, for a Sat. show.

Ah ok -- may do mine tonite then cuz I don't think I'll have time tom. morn.

Pretty much the last layer of protan you wash off is the last time I washed my hair. And yes same w/ the dirty hair = better styles.

1 thing that is so funny about competing is you look so damn good the day of the show, the best you've ever "looked" but you feel and are dirty lol. You can't shower for 2 days, you have dirty hair, you got a sh*t load of protan, and Pam cooking stray on you, and you can't wear any damn deodorant.....

well... I'm completely opposite... I have the overly shiny hair. If I go without washing it daily it seems to have an oil build up. I had to wash mine Saturday Morning. Of course I had to have someone do it because of all the gunk on my skin. LOL

I have the same hair - thin, fine, lots of it & oily. 1 day without washing and you can tell. However for my photo shoot and the show, the last time I washed was Friday nite (after all the protan layers & all my training & sweating is complete). By the time Sunday rolled around my hair could stand up by itself w/ all the hairspray and other shit in it. But that's what they told me. And "they" being my makeup artist and my stylist for both events.

If it looks oily (or smells bad...lol) you can put baby powder in it. You olny need a tad (rub it in your hands & apply to the roots). Then you rub your fingers through your roots so it doesn't look white. Not to sound gross, but this also helps with that itchy feeling you get if you don't wash your hair.

Or - if your not worried about the smell, you can use loose facial powder (so it's not white)
