Gonna Try 5x5 since im bulking now

i decided to give 5x5 a try today. heres what im gonna be doing:

barbell curl 5x5
hammer curl 2x10
preacher db curl 2x10

t-bar row 5x5
pull-ups 2xfailure
db row 2x10

shrugs 5x5


ill prolly do the back stuff first, then bicep, and shrugs last. whatya guys think of this split?
 
the arm stuff looks fine, but on the back part probably want deadlifts 5x5, then pull-ups then t-bars or DB rows

just my 2 cents
 
im gonna do deads next back workout. only reason i didnt do em today is cuz i wanted to just test out the method. i liked it a lot, just got home from the gym and i got a nice pump goin
 
You don't need to do 5x5 on shrugs either. After deads and your other back work it just isnt necessary. I find that 3 sets of 8-10 is perfect.
 
Yeah Lee, use the shurgs as an accessory to your other back exercises. Heavy 5x5 deads will destroy them.

Me too, but you will see that after you finish the rest of your back work, the 3 sets of shrugs will leave you traps fried.

You may want to consider doing a 3x5 for arms. I actually got better results that way.
