Goals for a Dynamic Effort Workout

What should i be trying to achieve during a dynamic effort workout.
For instance, during a hypertrophy workout I try and create a good feeling of ware in my targeted muscles.
What is the goal either mental or physical that i should be striving to achieve during a DE workout?

I guess this is kind of a hard question to answer.

both of those- for the DE movements - I get a bit of a pump at the end. Just keep concentration high and bar speed higher.
 
Speed. Try to decrease the time it takes to conduct 2-3 reps of the movement. Everytime I set a new PR for speed, it keeps getting faster and faster over the weeks, then when I test my raw, full ROM lift, I generally break through my sticking points and set a new pr just beause I can lift more ifI lift it faster. Especially on a deadlift. Speed off the floor is everything. Right now, 350ish is pretty slow off the floor. Soon enough, it will be fast, and I will probably see that carry over into my competition deadlift.
