My ex gets my daughter every monday and tuesday from 5 until 8. She rarely has her both days. They want me to drive up to the tanning bed at 7:45 to pick my daughter up, so my ex wife can leave. It's 10 minutes away and I say no. She can wait for her to finish tanning and bring her home. SHe doesn't see her that much anyway. Her house is less than 1 mile from mine.

explain to her (ex) that it's her time with your daughter..If your ex still persists on leaving early then sit down and have a talk with your daughter about what she wants...She is at the age now where I am sure her mommas actions are affecting her so you need to include her in the decisions....Also if your ex says she wont do it tell her that she needs to explain to your daughter what it is that is more important than doing mother daughter things........

My daughter is tanning. My ex gets her from 5 to 8, but that is flexible. I can allow her to go with her whenever she wants and how late she wants.

Your answer is a cop out on both accounts.

First off I can also drink, vote, serve in the armed forces, sign for my own surgical procedures and must pay taxes. In other words the major difference between your young daughter and me is that I am a fully grown adult female.

Secondly and most importantly: YOU ARE HER FATHER. YOU HAVE SOLE PHYSICAL CUSTODY. HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU ALLOW YOUR 14 Y/O CHILD TO SMOKE?!?! NOT ONLY IS THIS INCREDIBLY UNHEALTHY - BUT IT IS ILLEGAL.

And NO - I DO NOT TAN. God made me this color and I quite like it. I dont model any more nor do I compete sooooooooooooo.
