Getting back in the gym, want to do things right....

I'm beginning to start back in the gym again, and i want to make sure I put together the right package and recommended dosage per week.
I used gear (test 250) when I was playing baseball in jr. College and never really did things right just took it like everyone else, I'm 6'5 and started out at 175 and by the time I finished playing I was at 245, not very big but filled out a lot.
Now I am 31, 6'5 still and around 230, no mass in arms, have a slight bell( I'm going to say mainly from beer) and my chest has a little fat.

Im not looking to be mr Olympia, but I want to gain muscle mass, in arms, chest, shoulders, legs and shed stomach fat, so any help and point in the right direction would be awesome and greatly appreciated!
 
For your goals, I would skip a steroid cycle altogether and use SARMS instead.

SARMS are not the strength of steroids but they are extremely minimal in the way of side effects and will directly increase recovery, fat loss, endurance and lean muscle mass. For someone looking to gain some muscle, shed some fat, with no interests in competing in bodybuilding, SARMS are pretty much perfect.

They are only minimally suppressive of natural testosterone production, they don't require injections, they are legal to purchase and they don't effect your liver, blood pressure or cholesterol values.

I suggest running the SARMS triple stack. It is comprised of S4, ostarine and cardarine.
S4 will increase lean muscle and strength
ostarine is the best SARM for recovery
cardarine is the best SARM for fat loss

After the triple stack, run a mini PCT. 4 weeks of the following:
clomid at 25mg/day
nolvadex at 20mg/day

Try doing one of the programs you can find around here. Sometimes following a plan is easier than doing just whatever you want every time. I am a believer in when strength comes, size is soon after. And diet is the only way to shrink a belly. But I also drink beer or Beam while I lift, so what do I know...
 
you need to stop drinking beer first off. not only is it a shitload of calories but alcohol is a muscle destroyer.

2 beers is enough calories to wipe out an entire 1 hour workout .. so until you get your diet under control you are fucked
 
Don't mean to offend you, but it seems to me that you are not in shape for AAS use, so I would hold it off by now, and limit myself to SARMS. They are much safer, and they would make much more sense in your situation - they will help you lose fat, and get a bit more conditioned for AAS use.

A SARMS triple stack would be a good choice for overall conditioning - Cardarine will help lose fat, ostarine will help with recovery and mass gains, and andarine will give you a good strength boost.
 
I would also begin clean, maybe with some supplements or sarms, and whenever I would get to lower bodyfat level - only then consider running some gear
 
Steroids do not burn fat and cannot cause muscle gain in specific areas. What you want to do is get yourself into top condition first. Cut calories and start training again naturally. You will be able to get rid of the fat and leave yourself room to put some muscle on. Since you are just getting back into it you will see some nice gains naturally.
