FIDO SUCKS! it fucking blue balled me. last year there was this annual festival of lights thing by the bay, here in vancouver. its really quite beautiful, and people will crowd the beaches and watch these ships light off fireworks- very romantic and the percentage of getting laid there were in the mid to high 90s. everyone was either really high or drunk and casual sex could not have come more casual. anyways, i got a date with this really good looking blonde girl. she said she'll come down later after her work, and me and my friends can go down there and get some nice spots on the beach. well i went about 2 hrs earlier before she got there. the previous day she made me promise that i call her like 50 thousand times so she would know where to meet me in this sea of atleast 50,000 people, and that if i we meet up i can get some. so needless to say, i get a good spot, my friends went off to get some numbers , and so i was left alone guarding our little patch. i call up the girl from my cell, but fido had no service in the area. i try again, no dice. i couldnt walk around the beach b/c i had to guard the area. my friends finally came back, and unfortunately they all use fido. so that night , try as i might i could not get thru to the girl- and there wer eno pay phones anywhere near me. the next day, she talked to me over msn, and she was thoroughly pissed.apparently she and her girlfriends all dressed up really skankily and came down, and tried to find us. ofcourse they couldnt find us at all, and she never got my call and she couldnt get thru to me at all because apparently i didnt pick up, even though my cell didnt register a single missed call. she ended up watching the fireworks with her friends got picked up by some guy and got drunk at his place.!!!! we never went out after that, and that sorta killed off our relationship. i blocked and deleted her off my msn and have never spoken to her since. i have since switched phones to a different company and have met less slutty girls. the moral is: FIDO SUCKS.
