Friday Night Roll Call?

go out samoth and impress the ladies with your knowledge of physics. oh btw...

Ladies don't care about physics... they care about getting drinks and talking about stuff I have no clue about, lol.

No one knows what dark matter is, hence the mystery. Maybe a song will help you understand...

9. Dark Matter Mystery (Blackbody Spectrum)

"Matter creates a play, persistent and keen,
Where the night have opened its curtain
Harmonic pictures on the sky's enormous screen
With a contra positioned twin hiding within"

Faster, twice as fast than the gravitation equation permits,
Is the rotation of the celestial spheres
But if Einstein's calculation to this failure admits,
We wouldn't even know about the calculation's fears,

That the: gas clouds in galaxy clusters have a too little mission,
While wearing dark halos of matter
They would need four times of their gravity erudition
To silence our question's patter, (about the)

Dark matter mystery,
Blackbody spectrum,
An interstellar medium
We're tracing lost energy
That's swallowed by an unplanetary tum
At the worlds bivium

Like a shadow to the starfeild's determinism,
The invisible twin follows its pace
Comprehensible monism changed to indefinable pluralism
Is it super-symmetry's surrounding face? (in a)

Dark matter mystery,
Blackbody spectrum,
An interstellar medium
We're tracing lost energy
That's swallowed by an unplanetary tum
At the worlds bivium

Are we wrong in our definition of mass and weight?
Or, is a subatomic particle playing hide and seek?
'Cause light is missing to pronounce cosmos' fate,
While, mass discrepancy drains through a major leak

Brown and white dwarfs two candidates,
Black holes and neutron stars two others
But through multitudes of observation of their states,
We know that gravitational leansing hide their mothers (it's a)

Dark matter mystery,
Blackbody spectrum,
An interstellar medium
We're tracing lost energy
That's swallowed by an unplanetary tum
At the worlds bivium

"Like Bell, I connect my senses to the vast
Stellar mirror, where signals bounces from clast to clast"

dammit! i wanted to know. ok..

whats a quantum leap?
quark? and if i had 4 hamsters and i dumped all 4 into a worm hole what would happen to all 4 of them?

Dark matter was proposed when the calculated mass of rotating bodies (galaxies, etc.) was only a fraction of what it should be. Hence the unknown mass was called "dark" matter -- we can't see it.

Quantum Leap was a television show in the early '90's, I believe.

A quark is a subatomic particle much more complex than a "particle". Like, all it's energy and mass is bound in the (I believe) weak nuclear force boding it... they can't be found solo.

The hamster thing completely depends on whether it's your point of view or the hammys... Penrose's cosmic censorship hypothesis states that outside observers can never view a singularity, so your hamsters would be in for a treat, while you wouldn't see anything relly cool... well, besides being torn to shreds by gravitational curvature of spacetime inside the Schwarschild radius... maybe "treat" was the wrong word, lol...

just got back from a drive, sorta weird, just drove around, speeding around turns in my 99 entry level jap sports coupe wishing I was rolling in a muthafuckin Viper!

hmm interesting. so i wont be able to see my hamsters get ripped to shreds
? so what will i see after i drop them in? will they just sort of zap out and dissapear before my eyes?
