First Annual Elite Best Abs Contest

Well, with 3 confirmed people (including yourself), I don't know about having weight classes. lol Still waiting on my challenge to SC. :)

Hey, I'm in on this...so Is my brother (even though he doesn't post here....)...one thing, I vote for weight classes....MUCH more difficult to have diced abs at 225 than 125....just my .02

Hopefully it's soon, as I plan on putting on some good mass over the fall and winter, so I def. won't be as sharp.....maybe we should do it like Needsize said and wait about 6 months.......we should also have a gear/non-gear category and then a best overall.....as I think NS and SC might run away with this one......tell you what, I'll be a judge and post mine for shitz and giggles.......my bf right now is about 7.5%, up from 5 about months ago, but I could get back there in a few weeks......
 
If I feel that I'm lean enough to win (I'm training w/some football players now for my knee-rehab, as I had double patellar RUPTURES!) I'll enter my pics when you are all ready. My focus is not really abs now, but I can see where this will be fun, and I do already have abs as I never get so out of shape that you cannot at least see their outline.

It won't be a "diet vs. diet", it's a person vs. a person. If you want to do "diet vs. diet", we'll get 10 people each, put them on dietary programs, and see which 10 make the best progress. This again will have to do w/genetics and such, but is a better sampling if one is to do "diet vs. diet". That and I don't have "one" set dietary approach.

So, dependent upon the date you all have, and my personal re-hab w/legs and all, we'll just have to see. I can't totally commit yet, as getting my knees to 100% and hitting L.A. for some print/film-work in December, is my MAIN focus.

Gotta get paid and get that exposure first of course, that's all business! :)

Saying that you will submit pics if you feel that you're lean enough to win is not exactly agreeing to a contest. lol If you don't enter pics and you don't win then I guess the fall back plan would be the knee injury. :) I believe the "cankles" excuse has already been used in a previous contest so you're safe with that one. I'm just busting your balls but this is what I mean about only one other person "actually" agreeing to enter without conditions. ;) So, Bobbyjenious you still out there and ready? I guess we'll give it to the end of the week to see if anything changes.

Damn, didn't mean to get you all agitated SC - you're right, it's better to not commit than to pull out at the last minute. I'm not sure what you mean about not having the time though - I wouldn't spend any time "training" for an abs competition. About the only thing I might do would be to lose some water before the pics were taken. My diet and ab training would remain exactly the same. :)

Sorry bro, it's just that I have A LOT on my plate. What I meant by "training" for it is losing water and that of course, yes, but even to remember that we are doing this and to make sure it's at a time where I am able to lose a bit of water and the like. (Not into some other endeavor, traveling, etc.) I just didn't want to say "100% for sure" then not even be AROUND.

You know some will say they don't need to prepare for anything, but they are going to do a TON of work in all actuality. :) If I can't participate, it'll be fun to read about it and see all the pics of those who entered.

Enough procrastinating ...........I posted mine as of today in my gallery..I did it on a womb..no training..no nothing...havent even shave in months.....actually, I had a nice bowl of oats just before, but everyone is talking smack, so these are no excuses, just stating the facts....that's the best I got right now...I've been increasing cals for the past 3 weeks and nixed the cardio, so obviously I could be sharper, much sharper...but no excuses...done and over with........now quit yelping....... :rolleyes:
