feeling cold

When i train hard but cut calories i often feel very cold. it never bothered me before, just chuck on another jumper but i have read somewhere recently (on http://www.dolfzine.com) that it could be because im not eating enough calories and thus getting into a metabolic shutdown. Is this true?
anyone else experience this?

Feeling cold all the time is a sympton of a slowdown in the metabolic process; which usually means you have a thyroid problem or you are just not eating enough ( or it could be a cold night and the window is open :P ).

cold

i have the exact same problem. my boss complains about how hot our office is and yet, i'm always cold.

i just contributed it to the fact that i drink about 4-5 liters of cold water while i'm at the office. i've never heard of that being a symptom of a slowed metabolism. i have been on my cutting diet for 2 months now and still training hard...

any more info on this would be appreciated...

thanks!

you may have thyroid problems :(

try to eat more and if you still feel cold you'd better see a doctor

This happens to me at the end of cutting cycles - and I attribute it to a decrease in body fat percentage.

Are you losing significant muscle mass? If not then I wouldn't worry about a sluggish metabolism....

But I would be concerned if you are literally freezing (a good majority of the day/night) even when room temperature is average.

Incidentally...this can also happen when you stop using E/C or other stimulants that raise core body temp.
