According to your past post passive recovery is doing nothing, but under this post passive includes ice, massage, etc... I guess I just do not like the word passive because it means one is not reacting where as if one were to use ice massage it is definitely a reaction.
If I am understanding active recovery correctly, its main premise is to increase bloodflow thus stimulating recovery. However, during this am I to believe that muscle fibers are not being torn thus prolonging the revovery period.
Please understand that I am not trying to engage you in some sort of intellectual debate as it is quite obvious you are an expert when it comes to this material. I simply want to better understand the principles you are discussing.
