Extra workouts for bench press???

holy shit!!!!!!!!!!.....i forgot about that one.........that is a hell of a job you did putting all those exercises together....AWESOME!!!!!!!
 
Not an extra workout but....

At the end of each DE and ME bench training session do timed dumbell presses. Take a weight and for 2 minutes press the dumbell to lockout every 10 seconds. But on the bottom hold the bells staticly (no resting the bells on the chest or shoulders)

I like those band pushdowns too! I put a band over my bathroom door and I have a thing where do a set of 15-20 reps every time I have to us that bathroom tha night. That is usually like 3-4 times ater training because of all the water I drink during training and the post workout shake too.:mix:
 
i have really gotten into the stability ball db presses, i asked about them on here, and have done them since..man it pushes the blood through! I use the mini bands, usually the nextday, for recovery..It helps tremendously!! light cardio has actually helped my recovery also!!
 
Firstly, I do not employ the WSB training methods in my routine so my feelings may be a little different. That being said, I was under the impression that extra workouts were for recuperation. If recuperation is what you are looking for how about ice therapy, deep tissue massage, physical therapy, etc... I have a hard time understanding how constantly tearing the muscle fiber in such a small bodypart as the tricep and never letting it heal is going to be beneficial in the long run. I have nothing bad to say about the WSB guys especially considering all of their successes, but it does seem that they get a lot of bench press related injuries.

If people are going to copy my shit, they should fucking well give me credit for it.
