English Premiership : What did Rio take?

Hello All,

Had a raging debate with 2 guys in the gym this morning about what Rio Ferdinand might have taken.

For those who don't follow the sport, in late 2003, an English soccer international playing for Manchester United was called in for a random drugs test. He was told to report immediately after training. However, the same player went home instead and made the excuse that he forgot as he was under alot of stress and was too preoccupied about moving house. He then contacted the officials about 3 hours after he was due to be tested offering to come in. His offer was rejected and he subsequently got 9 month suspension for missing a test.

Now, the debate this morning was about what he may have taken. Remember he's a football (soccer) player. I expect he took Avavar, but the guys in the gym are arguing Prop. Is there any fans who might have an opinion. The majority believe his excuse, but I wonder........

Actually, Football (soccer) is generally regarded as clean. If you supported my team (Colchester United) you'd know they definitely aren't on performance enhancing drugs as they're fucking shite anyhow!!!!

Ive no idea, but he wasnt tested until a day or so afterwards i seem to recall. Dunno how long ching stays in your system but maybe it was a long enough gap for it to have left his system.

I can't comment on whether Rio was taking gear, but you guys are mistaken in thinking soccer is clean. Additionally, bros need to stop looking at gear usage from a bodybuilders perspective. You guys are saying he must not be using b/c he's not jacked? As if using gear to aid in strength and speed doesn't happen all the time? He doesn't look like a bb b/c he isn't one and doesn't train like one. I don't know if he uses or not, but many do and you can't tell by looking at them. Remember the term performance enhancing drugs bros, its not just muscle building drugs.

Coke stays detectable for weeks normally, unlike heroin which is out in 12 hours or so. S'why inmates in prisons are most likely to do the smack because they are less likely to get caught.

Mutu's a waster anyhow. If the unwillingness to accept criticism and fight for his place is anything to go buy at Chelsea, then Juve will be glad to see the back of him too. Same when he plays for Romania. A little more attention to the ball and a little less attention to the side-shows and he might get going again. Yes, Rio mightn't have taken anything at all. Just panicked because he was at a wild party a few weeks before and regretted it. Then the unthinkable happens and the Testers show up. Of all times for this to happen, so he went in search of a masking agent. Possible.
