Elite Man: Searching for a little help...

Okay, my little disclaimer, I am one of the Elite men, I need the help of the Elite women. That’s why I’m posting on your board. I did something, now I need a little advice: A few months ago I had my arms waxed. I am Caucasian an had a little peach-fuzz I thought I would take off just for the hell of it. Now, three months later I have all these little red dots. I don’t know if they are ingrown hairs or what. Since my traumatic experience of getting my arms waxed I decided it hurt too much to ever try again. Since then I have shaved my arms a couple times after I have showered. These little dots are still around. They seem too spaced out to be razor burn.

Any of you girls know what this is or how to get rid of it?

I appreciate all your help,

Sebby

Sounds like irritated hair folicles. Avoid shaving for a while, it may be ingrown hairs and you're irritating them by shaving. Try exfoliating your arms witha loofah mit and use lotion to soothe the skin. Try one of those creams that minimizes the appearance of hair, like Aveeno. It will make the hair grow in finer.

Ewwwww, no arm hair?

I agree with tangerine, try exfoliating. Buy a loofah & use it...

I read in a magazine that those bumps could be from bacteria that gets in the pore when you shave. I have real sensitive skin and was using the shave gel, but switched back to regular soap and it's helped. Also, I know you'll hate this idea, but "Bikini Zone" works real well. People even use it on facial acne to clear it up, even though it is for shaving and bumps and what not...just try it, along with soap before, during and after shaving. Keep using bikini zone and it won't come back.
