here's my problem.....i am 5'8" and refocused on serious training last october after a summer of slacking off and getting fat. at that time i weighed 220 and wasn't training at all so my bf% was very high....now i weigh around 175 and thats just too light... i am an aspiring pro wrestler and wanna weigh more...the problem is i look the best i have in my life...i can walk around without my shirt on for the first time in my life.....i have been getting at least 190 grams of protien a day (sometimes alot more) and for the past 4 months i have been doing cardio everyday....i still wanna get leaner and firm up but i still wanna weigh more but cant afford to get fatter because i have to wrestle with my shirt off and dont wanna look bad......i have been thinking of upping my carbs (i've been trying to keep carb intake low to lose bf) ............any suggestions?.............BTW i'm in the gym 4-5 days a week

thanks alot

B Fold gives the best advice here... you need to consider your long term goals first. if your shirt term goals screw with your long term goals you need to change them.

Pick one or the other. Can't do both.

Sorry dude, but the Dok is right on this one. You can add some LBM without fat, but it is impossible to do it quickly. You're just gonna have to sacrifice your pride and pack on the pounds. Muscle will come with it. When you're ready, just cut again.

i wrestled in high school....... looking good with your shirt off doesnt do squat on the mat.

i looked great and got killed by plenty of "fat guys".

worry about how you look after season...... its only 3 months long....... belive me....... if your "fat" but a winner....... people (mainly chicks) wont mind too much.

and remember.......if your ever wrestling a bear of a man and he twist you up in knots...... do not...... i repeat....... do not bite the mans nuts that you see in front of you.......they are probably yours.

If your long term goal is to be a grappler - gain to around 240 and THEN try to cut down...you gotta look down the road...you can't carve a pebble

Lots of good advice on here...
