im on my 4th week of fina/winny cycle. last monday, i got very ill. from mon-sun, i would say i ate about an average of 1k cals/day. i dont know what made me ill but im thinking it was some bread i ate. ive been feeling dizzy, light headed, naseous and weak for the past week. i didnt train on wed and forced my workouts on thurs and fri. im debated whether i should go to the gym today or not. still feel ill, and i'll be seeing a doc today. does anyone train while they are ill?

All depends on how ill I am. If I am nausious.puking I dont work out, if I am just stuffed up (like a cold) I try and force a workout but at reduced intensity and may cut out a few sets etc.

Same here....if i'm pukey sick, I just take the day off and try to recover....if i'm suffering from sinuses or something like that I just go for it.

Luckily I don't get sick that often.

When you are sick, many physiological resources that are usually free to work to recover from exercise induced stress are being channeled for recovery from the pathogen.

Like Zyg said, if you're just a little sick and are going to work out anyway, reduce your load/intensity. A little exercise may even boost recovery. However, keep in mind that that a fine line exists between the volume of activity that may help, and the volume of activity that will impede recovery and worsen your illness. For this reason, many top level competative athletes DO NOT step foot into a gym if sick. They fear making a bad situation worse by lengthening the time necessary for full recovery, taking a big chunk out of their training time.

I always do my best to hit the gym regardless of whats wrong with me... If im worried about giving it to other people I just go late in the evening around 9:00 when no one is there...

I like to take a week off of training anyway every 3 months or so. Just make this your week off and come back refreshed next week.

What if I'm in my 4th week post cycle? I am not pukey sick, just sore throat, runny nose and night sweats. I am also running a dbol bridge. Wouldn't the week off hurt my post cycle recoverey?

the week off won't affect your recovery, don't worry.
When I ahve a cold or sore throat,I like training since it sometimes help me to feel better...surely cause it makes me sweat to train ...but if your illness continues, stop for one week cause you should be too weak to let your body recover of being ill...

When im on, if i get sick, the sickness will linger for a long period of time. For instance, im in week 7 of a cycle of fina, ive been having this sinus thing for 2 weeks now and its just lingering. Its not getting worse, but its also not getting better. Remember on cycle your immunity is lowered, whenever your bodys hormones are off kilter you will have lowered immunity.
