DNP, drug tests, and the heart

Radical Ice

Member
2 more DNP questions...

1) Does it show up in urine tests -- such as those at work or for insurance purposes?

2) I've read that being on DNP is no different than doing light cardio 24 hours a day (except that it's somewhat muscle-sparing). I notice my resting heart rate is about 115 on DNP, normally 60-70. Is DNP "exercising" the heart as cardio would, which would be a GOOD thing -- or is this another unwanted side-affect of DNP that could cause problems later on?

THANKS

:)

1. DNP can be detected in both the blood and urine. However, these tests aren't standard issue tests. They won't be issued at your doctor's office... perhaps a special laboratory, as they require special equipment. Your urine will smell like bile though... so it might give an indication that something is really wrong with you. :)

2. DNP increases heart rate & your BMR... I wouldn't say these are unwanted side-effects... DNP is more muscle sparing, but only when used over short periods of time... at least I believe this... some people have used DNP for extended periods of time, with great results... the major reason the muscle will catabolize is because it is dehydrated... glycerol and drinking PLENTY of fluids will help prevent this, at least in periods of 8 days.
