Why do you think tribal people are so ripped? No processed foods, no mcdonalds. All they eat are organic foods natural foods the gifts god gave us. If all we did was just eat natural foods (organics), foods that come on the plate the same as they are in nature then you can easily be as ripped as those tribal guys. Not to mention all the complete health beneifits of eating foods that are natural. Most likely less cancers, diabetes, and other ailments that we have here in america I am a big advocate of organics and the truth is in the foods. Granted they are pricey when I get back to work and have some loot I will do a complete 100% organic and natural diet and post complete report with results and pics. maybe a month or so before I start this.
 
tribal people are skinny b/c they eat snakes and monkey brains lol.

so are you saying if i stick to my normal diet but just switched all my foods to organic i can get ripped? hmmmm...lol. bro, i'd save your money unless your doc has you eating organic foods for a medical reason ie cancer. i was just reading the other day that alot of these companies aren't even living up to their standards they say they are in keeping their products 100% organic.
 
i seen plenty of programs about tribal people. some are about 120 lbs and ripped to the gills (which doesnt interest me), some are flabby. you cant say "every tribal person is ripped because they eat organic food"

i actually think that tribal people being ripped probably has more to do with them regularly eating below bmr. you get plenty of ripped tribesmen, but i dont think you get many that are ripped at 220+ lbs
 
I agree that whole foods is the way to go. I've been saying this for years now
Processed foods contain harmful additives, chemicals, colors and flavors. Secondly the processing may eliminate some of the macronutrients which make the food what it is. You would try to eliminate refined foods almost completely from your diet. Refined sugars dont contain vitamins and minerals. They also don't contain antioxidants,bioflavanoids, and other healthy micronutrients

This is not me not accepting other ideas... The above is the clear and "whole" truth pure and simple.
 
also, to the OP. After some heavy debate, I have learnt some things (yes, I admit it) from another thread in the diet forum.

Next few weeks Ill be trying whole foods (probably powdered oats) instead of WM in my PWO shake.

Ill also be eating a low GI food pre workout, as some of the studies indicate that the insulin increase lasts thoughout and well after the workout period, helping avoid anticatabolic processes.

Im still undecided on the whole insulin spike for protein synthesis.
