Hi everyone. I'm posting a sample of what I ate yesterday. Tell me what you think. My goals are to build muscle while leaning out:
Meals (eek!) The plan is to do P/F meals until after workouts, then P/C until last meal of the day (casein) for proper macronutrient utilization. I also take all my supps after my workout (vitamins and ish) so they're more likely to be absorbed
1- 7 egg whites, 1 c broccoli, .25 cup cheese
2- 1.5 scoop Whey Protein Isolate w/ flax oil and berries
**workout**
3-Protein Shake w/ High GI fruits/juices (2:1 pro/cho ratio)
4-3 oz chicken breast, 1 cup brown rice
5-3 oz chicken beast, 1 cup brown rice
6-1/2 cup LF cottage cheese, 4 fish oils
Totals: 1357kcal 31 F 122 C 145 P
edit: add 100kcal, 7g P, 14C from that shake from meal 3 (give or take)
so.... 1460kcals total
(I'm 5'0'', 125lbs)
This is a major caloric jump for me, as I've been bouncing from 900-1100 kcals for the past year due to Atkins and other diet extremes.
Supps: Multi, Fish Oil, Flax Oil (EFAs), Glutamine (soreness), MSM (joints), Mangosteen & Noni Juices (antioxidants/xanthones).
Feedback is appreciated!
