I did glute-ham raises for the first time yesterday. All I can say is damn, they are a good exercise. Really hit the hams hard. I havent had DOMS in my hams like this in a while.
The gym was too crowded to do them on the floor, and there is no glute/ham station, so I used the Back Extension station:
I just lowered the pad that you lean against and raised the ankle support some, and did a couple other makeshift modifications so that I wasn't so vertical, and did them on that. Not ideal, I know, but the best I could do. I'm going to try them on the floor next week, if the gym isnt packed!
