Debate McDonald's diet verses clean diet on cycle

a few cheat meals here and there wont kill u but if u base your diet around crap for cals .. u will look and feel like crap in the long run

Yes, over a period of time the average person will, but we are not talking about regular people here. Bodybuilding is an extreme sport, we are either bulking up and gaining strength and accepting some bf, or losing bf and accepting some loss in strength/size. Therefore, the guys who eat at McDonald's and BK and are serious about bodybuilding are not doing it for more than a few months usually. Your right though, its all about BASING the diet around good foods or bad. If you base it around clean foods but supplement with high cal fast food I think that's good for building muscle. The biggest and strongest that I ever was was when I'd come home after training and eat 2 chicken breasts and about 3 cups of rice, then smoke a joint and hit up McDonalds 90 minutes later for another 1000 calories.

Mcdonalds should throw back at everyone .
Why not?
I am sure if a giant fat ass say maybe 500lbs went everyday and ate one egg burito with water, then came back for lunch had salad no dressings with a cup of water, then had a hamburger with a diet coke for dinner, his calories would be below 1400 and he would loose fat pretty quick,
Then mcdonalds would have a used to fat, turned into a skinny flabby turd as a spokeman.
Subway did it, had a guy take a sub cut it into three pieces and eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner to lose weight.

D1 vs D2

in terms of physical changes, you'll gain more fat on D1 due to much higher insulin levels from bun vs sweet potatoe and the marginal worsening of insulin resistence from hi levels of saturated fats. the IR will also tend to concentrate the fat around your midsection. muscle gains probably comparable, but you'll probably lose alittle more from D1 in cutting since there's more fat to lose

in terms of cardiovascular aging, D1 is some big multiple times worse - all other things being equal,
-the higher glycemic bun will keep insulin higher, the better to fill and possibly hyperplaise (is that a word?) fat cells
-saturated fat will add more artery plaque than other fats,
-the trans fats in micky d's will increase the perioxidation AND lower HDL compounding matters.
-the fish oil on the other hand will RAISE hdl, lower triglycrides, and not perioxidize to increase plaque
-the fish oil will lower bp
-the fish oil will decrease insulin resistence

soo D1 is more fun, D2 will let you live longer and look better doing it (but you may WANT to die after eating that much fish oil every day)

On the other hand, you could clear a room with a single hearty fish-belch. Think of the benefits -- for example, when standing in a long line at the bank... *bwaaaaahuhrp* and voila, you'd get to go first. Sort of like having a super power! ;)

belive it or not I was on a low carb cutting diet that was basicly mostly mcdonalds burgers without the bun. I droped 60lbs in a year without cycling.
