Good point. I've done 615 for a single and 585 for a double on conventional deads. Plus I don't think judges will dock you for having overdeveloped hamstrings. Maybe I can make it a priority the rest of the year, along with brining up my tri's bi's and delts. I really want to get my arms up to 19 by the spring. That's will be my 4 year training mark. I may try to compete again this spring, so the hams could be useful.

definitely..... hams always loose size on a bodybuilder the more cut he gets........... take ronnie coleman.......... his glutes and hams are the most shredded there are........... but in the offseason they are enormous......... so the bigger you are before you diet down and rip up, the more mass you will hang onto.

I've learned a few things over the past two years doing strongman.

1) Never go for a PR the week before a contest. Missing it can be devistating for your mental outlook on the contest.

2) The last training day before the contest should be a lot of FUN. The only reason for this is if you are in dire need of getting used to the implements or the weights.

good points...........

1) im not that down about them. i did come up with pr's, just not what i hoped. and besides...... i had been watching what i was eating untill friday morning. so i just figured thats where the lack of umph came from.

2) ill do speed work....low volume on monday (upper) and tuesday lower. that worked real well for me in nashville. and when i came up to your house last month.

so im jazzed and just looking to have some fun from here on out........... we have less than a week folks!!!
