I always put my water bottle on the bench or seat that I'm working on, if I have to leave it. I always pace in between sets. Depending on how long I'm waiting is how far I'm pacing back and forth. I've had people try to deload even when I'm close by and can see them. So I always have something with me to put there to "claim" the spot. I can get pretty creative with my "claim" when I have to leave a bar for a minute.
