Crossfit /BJJ combo, need recovery help

Hey guys,

31yo, 210lb (usually cut to 203-205 for comps), 6'2.

I've been training BJJ for years, but always had a full time job, kids, house, wife, etc. that kept me from competing at a high level. I do well at local tourneys, etc, but big comps are usually 1 or 2 and done for me. And I'm usually beat by the guy who is stronger or has the better gas tank (my strength and endurance are decent to good, but not great).

I've recently come into some more time to train and want to up my endurance and explosiveness thru crossfit to help me compete and win at higher levels. I've been training for a few weeks now, and while I do feel improvements, I also feel like Ive been thru the wringer by mid-week. I have a few nagging injuries that are sticking with me and find myself forced to sit out a day or two of training a week to recover, in addition to my Sunday's off. Both of these defeat the purpose of adding more training to my schedule because I'm unable to maintain my training for a full week.

I eat a good amount, diet is clean. Could up protein tho I supplement with whey, bcaas. I take creatine mono. Multi vit, basic other vitamins and stuff. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on to find someone with similar goals and have found a few things close debut not exactly the same. Definitely a noob when it comes to this stuff, but not fitness.

What can I take to help me recover faster after training? I like my weight as it is, but could spare some fat% to up muscle mass for strength gains.

A lot will disagree, but I don't like crossfit for BJJ. It's too much for most people. If anything I would suggest just 2 crossfit workouts a week. That's what the guys at my gym do.

How many days a week do you train at BJJ? and for how long at a time? Are classes are 1.5 hous and im way to tired after that to do anything! Never mind crossfit.

BJJ 3 times a week; Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 2 hours a class. Crossfit WODs are Monday, Wednesday, Friday (as long as I can make the time) and are much shorter, but intense. More strength and explosiveness oriented. My problem is, I end up missing one, sometimes two workouts in a given week due to feeling a bit beat up. Some weeks I feel great, so I know I'm not vastly over extending myself. I just want something that's going to fill in that gap and help me get the most out of my hard work.

Suggestions?

My Bjj gym moved to a gym so I train then after i go downstairs and work out. I train stand up 2. And ride BMX. Ive been outta work and now only part time. My Cortisol is prob ejaculating threw da roof. Lol.
