Yea, i'm going through a tough time w/ my cravings, especially around my mensus. I ate a 1/2gal. of low-fat choc. cookies n mint yogert in like 1 1/2hr. I just can't have one bowl like i used to years ago, i devour the entire box! I'm losing my discipline as i'm getting older i guess.
Try Sugar free jello, or Fat Free Sugar Free Pudding.
here's 2 snacks I make with my pudding:
make chocolate pudding with skim milk, mix in some cool whip, and peanuts, put it in the freezer, tastes like chocolate ice cream.
or
make pudding, cut up some almonds and mix them in.
Here's another one that got me thru my first BB show, when I coudln't take the ice pops anymore -- Tofu + protein mix pudding. You gotta try it once to get used to it, but its not bad. Cut up one of those hunks of firm tofu into 1/2 or 1/3, put it into a cup/ bowl & mush in a scoop of protein powder.

I know how you feel. I crave something sweet after lunch & dinner, than again around bed time. I cut Odyssey bars into little chunks & wrap them in foil. They have 3 wicked flavours that taste like real chocolate. They help to beat the cravings. Oh & they have 18gr protein, 24carbs (14 are sugar alcohols)
That's why I always throw in the caveat that you gotta get used to it. But if you look at the macronutrient counts on tofu, its good stuff. If you are deep into contest prep & you *GOTTA* have something, its a viable option that you won't pay dearly for.
For me I found that cold turkey is the BEST way. I'm an emotional eater. I eat when I'm bored, sad, happy, angry...
I am sweets junkie. When I was training very seriously and eating clean I started to eat non sugar snacks only. It tricked my brain and helped me break my sugar habit. Eventually I stopped craving sugar ALL together, even when I had my period...
Now, I'm back to square one...
But I know how to get back to getting results when I'm ready. : )
