O.K. I know this has been addressed before but I could not find it using the search function. I am currently looking at a nutrition label on a box and it reads:
Total Carbs - 40g
Dietary Fiber - 10g
Sugars - 16g
If I understand, you can subtract the fiber from the total carb content giving 40 - 10 = 30 grams of carbs. Just curious, where are the other carbs that are not included with the fiber and sugar? 10 + 16 does not = 40 at least not last time I chekced-so much for my minor in applied math in college! Do these "missing" 14 grams of carbs need to be counted?
