Confused about sets and reps. Need Help.

you're going to have to find what works for you,i agree with blood_drinker....my body responds to low rep, heavy weight, but also Mjollnir is the oppisite which doesn't make him wrong, but he shsa learned his body.you'll have t take all the info and finat works for you...........PEACE:D

Most of the time keep the weight heavy and most of the time do not train to failure. Eat more calories(good) thanyour body expends during the day and hey presto your accent changes to Austrian cum American.

I'm 34 years old and have been training since I was about 16, including NCAA Division One athletics and Judo.

Believe me, the hardest thing of all is being willing to change old routines in favor of new ones because of the fear of regressing if one is not following what one is used to.

I used to work out in my 20's 6 days a week, including distance cycling, and wondered why the hell I wasn't progessing.

It took me forever to get the stones up to try HIIT training, one year ago to the month, and my gains for the past year have been nothing short of extraordinary, in terms of strength and muscularity.

Do NOT be afraid of dumping old routines for new ones.
