Ok i work in a warehouse so i get to eat "exactly" what i need to. More like an eat on the go thing other than lunch. Anybody ever heard of Pure Protein protein bars? 20g protein, very little sugar and fat, about 25g carbs. Nice snack when you can't eat an actual meal i think? Thoughts on these if you know about them please. The protein is isolate if you're wondering.

If the carbs are simple then I suppose the bar is okay as a snack about an hour before your next meal or pre-post training. If it's a mixture of complex and simple CHO, probably even better. The bar probably amounts to little more than 200kcals and is basically a snack bar, but better than a Mars or Snickers nutrionally.
I've only ever had things like this if, like you, I'm on the go, or feel a bit hypo. They certainly aren't to be treated as a regular meal replacement I shouldn't have thought. However, they are what they are...and as such, do have a place and a purpose for tieing you over or as a supplement or addition to a diet.I think they're on the whole very expensive too aren't they?
 
Not too expensive actually. I eat it about an hour before workout. Immediately after its 60g whey and a banana

I got an idea. Make shakes and bring them to work in large jugs. U can be very creative if u have a good blender. Oats, bannanas, sweet potato, nuts, peanut butter and even spinach blend up very well together along with whey protein. This can give u a huge nutritional kick and u can chug it fast anytime.
