Exactly, I am finding the weight training is helping me so much more. My uncle has MS and he said when he does nothing for three days his body shuts down, I am finding the same, he said he feels better moving around, except on the days when it gets really bad.

However, there are little glitches that I need to work through to make my workouts a little better and the after effects so that is why I asked if anyone is going through the same.

I have a friend with MS and she works out consistently, primarily weights with some hiking and skiing thrown in. She swears that it has stabilised her condition, i.e. the symptoms have not worsened over a five year period as suggested by her doctors. Occasionally she will need rest, sometimes a couple of weeks, but then builds back up again gradually.

Gotta love kids, one day your ready to disown them the next..... my two year old grabbed a weight and was trying to copy me doing my exercises and trying to count for me (1,2,1,2) Then we were listening to music and dancing and there my girls are shaking their booties and the little one is chanting shake, shake shake! Now they have their own water bottles! My son said he thinks I am getting strong!

My parents have lived in the same house since we were born and I knew that coming back it would be the last time. I wanted to do with my kids the same thing my parents did with me (togoganning at the old hill, skating, walks around the lake, all the holidays) and I was able to..so as I am soo very excited about our new house i am sad at the same time. Not to mention having live in babysitters, and company since we are moving to a small town again! :)

Man I am going to barf reading this! :)

well no cardio tonight but awesome chest and back workout. Went to do cardio and thought I was going to barf, I think to late at night. But everybody will be proud, I am going to get up tomorrow morning at 5:00am and do it!!!! Really!!!! I will let you know if I actually do! I also plan on doing it tomorrow night:) after my shoulder and calves workout!

I plan on burning it hard tonight, and I am planning on making my hubby to, he hates any cardio when it is indoors, but we have our own little competition and it really burned his butt to see me be able to run longer around the lake so I might make him go around it again.

As far as the cals in vs cals out. I have no idea? I just eat what my trainer tell me too. I understand the burning up more than your taking but what is the other thing, explain please!? :)

You eat 1500 Calories
You burn 2000 Calories (Doing your daily life, working, walking, working out, going to the store, etc.

That 500 extra calories is stored calores your body had to use.

Also ive read 3500 = 1lb

Got it, know all about the 3500 thing! all I know is I eat 1800 on the days I workout and 1200 on the days I don't. 5'5 and now 134 pounds, I am averaging only losing a pound a month since January and I have come to except it, cause I have tried several things several ways and this is the only time I have seen any results as far as my body looking better so I guess its a good thing!

Today is the day! moving moving moving! hopefully hopefully hopefully. Thanks for all the compliments. Yup four kids, and it has taken me a lot of hard work just to get to this point so I am happy!

I am back!!! The move went smooth except the internet was down until today and my new washing machine doesn't work, but hopefully that will come tomorrow.

Today I go to look for a new gym, I am soo excited so the last week has been a wash but haven't gained any weight so must be doing something right.

I am going to try catch up on everybody's logs this week.

I hope everybody has been doing awesome!

Workout was awesome yesterday, gotta get used to the new gym, it is really small and a lot of gabroni's, plus they only have half the equipment. I am going to try it for a month and see cause there is another gym but the place is awesome for my kids so we will see what happens, for tonight..... my hubby and I are going together cause they have a play place for the kids.

Had another awesome workout, however, when my husband got there, he didn't like the gym so I am going to check out the other one now.

Did legs instead last night, I worked it hard. No growling though people looked at me like I was crazy cause the sweat was dripping down, there is a visual for everyone! :)

No pictures until the end of the month, I posted some two weeks ago (or bunny did for me :) ) and until the workouts and eating get back on track, I don't even want to look at me! :) :)

It seems you and I have almost the same routine (yeah and I lift the same amount, ha ha, NOT) GO LEGS GO!!!!

Especially when they don't know proper gym edicate. Man that pees me off! They set the gym up to look like it has alot, but it doesn't and the equipment is stuffed into a small room all in the wrong places....but I am sure the other place is much better.
 
So here is the deal, got the results back from the doctor yesterday, it isn't MS it is PMS, ha ha.

No, actually I found out I don't have MS but I have had a stroke that did cause some brain damage and I am probably in line for another one soon. As well, I have a so far a benign tumor in my brain, I have to go for another MRI to make sure it hasn't grown. So I am going for even more tests and on some medication to try avoid another stroke... and well at this point I would of rather had MS.

Lets just say my family and I are really re-evaluating our lives and I know that it should take something like this for that to happen but that is where things stand.

So I may go to the gym today and I might not, but definitely will be getting back at it when my family doctor clears the path for me to train.

Thank you everybody for your well wishes, trying not to cry right now, UGGGG! :rolleyes:

Anyway, my family doctor is awesome and he is going to phone me tonight to discuss the results further and I go see him on Monday. Such an overwhelming thing to be told I need to get clarification on so much more cause when I was told my mind went blank so everything else that was said is kinda a blur.

But I am going to stay strong especially for my family, I deal with stress by joking around so if make some jokes from time to time about my situation I don't want anyone to be offended.

ok so no exercise yesterday, the day before or today, now I am growling. I am gaining weight. Things seemed so much easier when I lived with my parents. Well, time to get off this what is becoming a big butt and do something.

I have to go to the gym tomorrow or workout out at home. It is better than nothing. I have to go through my boxes and find my old cardio tapes and do the weights at home. The eating is getting back on track.

I talked to my family doctor and things are a little better, the tumor is not cancer but I will have to watch that it doesn't grow for the rest of my life. I have a damaged blood vessel in my neck so I have to watch the weights now, which seems funny to me, don't know why it just does. As for the stroke, it is what it is and they are doing everything they can so it doesn't happen again. It pisses me off when you are doing everything right to stay healthy and teach your children how to live a healthy lifestyle and this happens.

CK, my heart is with you, ONE because for the rest of my life I will have to track every little minor bump in ANYTHING that may appear abnormal, whether physical or biochemical etc. I can only imagine how it must feel to have a family to support when you are looked upon as 'the strong one' .. but YOU SO ARE STRONG ...

I do suggest trying talking to some other specialists with a different approach to hanadling these types of issues, hollistic, yoga, accupunture, massage therapists... whatever ... $$ comes into play but when I say 2nd, 4th, 6th & 10th opinions DO matter, your mental health as well as physical is KEY to your survival... it can change your thinking & highly make a solid impact on your life... I only wish I had done that, I had to do this all by myself it feels like ... then I found EF and changed my life...

I am here for you HOW EVER you need me ... in every way I can be given our limitations... :rose:

Thank you so very much. I know I sound like such a cry baby, just pissed off things are going the way they are supposed to right now, I guess you could call it my little tantrum. I know I am the only one who can change things. We are taking your advice and looking for other opinions. We were already taking about acupucture and I just want to go for a massage :)

My husband is the strong silent type and I think he is about to explode right away which I think is a good thing.

I do have to say my family has been wonderful, we are all still in a little shock, I am more worried about my mom, she isn't taking the news so well. I phone her everyday now in the morning and say "I'm not dead yet". Just my way of trying to make her laugh.

We didn't realize the freakiness of saying it outloud, we joked around about the test results turning out this way but we actually didn't think it would be.

and yes EF is awesome, so many great people to offer advice and give support, and I love hearing about everybodies elses successes, I know that it is what also keeps me motivated! :heart:

Thank you for your advice and support! I am sure in a couple of days I will buck up and things will hopefully go back to what can hopefully be normal. Just have to get through the rest of the tests, and hope for the best, it is what it is!

but I do have four amazing children, one wonderful husband and I am and will always be grateful for what is :heart:
