I've been doing pretty good on my bench performance lately. However, at some point, I sustained an unusual injury to my right pec. I say it's unusual because it only hurts on heavy bench days when I'm actually pounding out some good reps with relatively heavy weight. The problem is also unusual because it involves a dull to sharp pain that originates in my right pec and extends thru the muscle right above my armpit and down into my forearm.
What the hell is going on? A tear, a strain, overtraining?
This really sucks 'cause I was just really starting to make some good bench gains.
