carb loading

I see that there is a lot of info about high protein foods. I am about to start carb loading after 3 days of zero carbs. I still need to keep my calories relatively low, I know that I'm going to have to bite the bullet and take a lot more than I have been. The first phase of my glycogen replenishment will be pretty much high glycemic. White bread, honey and that sort of thing. I plan to use Carbo Forces too. Is there any food that you can think of that will give me a pretty good carb to calorie ratio? After the first 24 hours, I'll go to taking in more complex carbs like oatmeal and vegetables and stuff. I am just looking for some high glycemic food to blow my starving muscles back up. I'm looking to to take in about 400 carbs and still stay below 1600 calories, allowing for about 600 of those calories for protein and fat.

Honestly, that isn't enough carbs or fat to properly replenish muscle glycogen. Unless you are a 95 ibs woman. I find I need a good 5000+ cals and 800 grams of carbs a day for 3 days straight to totally fill out my muscles after carb depleting. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish.

Nah, I'm not a 98 pound woman. The research that I have seen (and what I'm trying to follow) says 400-600 grams of carbs for 3 days. I'm only 156 pounds so I'm think that 400 grams of carbs should suffice. I have a contest on Saturday and I don't think I could bring myself to take in anything close to 5000 calories until that night. When you replenish though, do you have any favorite high GL foods. Based on what I've read, fat shouldn't really affect my glycogen levels. Do you agree with that?
