Can I play anymore?

I've never been this discouraged about sports in my entire life.
I play in a very good league with a lot of very good players. I've been playing in this league for 12 years and the league has been getting better and better every year. Up until now, I've been able to adjust. I'm an outfielder that runs well, but I've never thrown well. Offensively, I've always been a good player with a little power.

I'm 35 and I'll be 36 next week. I've gained some weight recently and that's part of it, but I've been taking it off (I still have another 10-20 pounds to go), so that's part of it. I've always been a solid .550-.600 hitter and this year through 6 games I'm batting .250. This is ridiculous. I've had one extra base hit, I'm ending rallies, and I'm sick about it.
I'm still getting to the ball well in the outfield and catching the ball, but now guys are running on me. Like I said, I've never had a great arm, but I think my throwing arm has gotten worse. Tonight I thought I had a guy at 3rd, but the ump blew the call. But that's not the point... once guys start running on you, you better gun a couple of them down or they won't stop. And with my arm, I have to be perfect.

I know I can still run. I know I can still get to the ball. But can I still hit? I don't know. Is this age, and if so what adjustments do I make to overcome this slump?
