Can a egg white protein shake be considered a meal?

I know whey gets absorbed by our system pretty fast and it should be used here and there to fill in the gap and in Post-workout shakes.

What about egg white powder protein?I know it's absorbtion rate is slower than whey and I really want to stick to a 3 meal a day diet but im not against drinking 1 or 2 egg white shakes a day. What do you think?

Could it be a good thing to add 1-2 egg white powder shakes during the day?
 
Sure. Egg is best if you're replacing 2 meals with it for that very reason: Whey gets absorbed very quickly. You might want to try to throw some fruit or oats into those shakes. Actually, I'm telling you this to somehow slow the egg absorption down, but I really doubt fruit would be optimal for this, so I suggest you skip it unless it's PWO or you just can't drink raw oats. The best idea to slow shake digestion down is to put fat in it. Flax oil is best, peanut butter is great too, olive oil, and any other monounsaturated fat. You can even eat nuts in place of that if you prefer that.
