i have 10 inch ankles ( which are thick, not wide ) and 17inch calves that are circular, so they look really good from the front, they are not massive but they are very defined and proportioned. I can see the two seperate muscles, and ive only been doing direct calf work for about 9 months. I did go through a lot of ankle rehab in the past 9 months too which made emm burn some days.
Lucky i guess, my down side is i store 98% of the fat on my body in my stomach chest and lower back/love handles. It sux i wouild trade my calves any day for a 6-pack and tight chest ( but who wouldnt ) =(
